Pope in Rome
a series of pieces for Prepared Piano
Pope in Rome is the collective name given to series of pieces written to try and create different sounds within the confines of a piano. Using different preparations with common household objects, they attempt to break the taboo of preparing instruments. Each piece contains only three notes which are all prepared. All scores are handwritten and are available for download below.
